Prior to this, Michael was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Boomi where he led innovation and product technical strategy that resulted in Boomi being a leader in a Gartner Magic Quadrant eight years in a row, as well as Boomi being acquired for $4B in 2021. His 30+ year career also includes being a founder of IBM WebSphere Application Server, as well as achieving the elite status of IBM Master Inventor. With his broad technical and customer experience, maniacal focus on emerging technologies, and deep understanding of the complexities of managing data, Michael's current focus is on leading research and innovation on the foundational role data plays in future technologies, global data ecosystems, individual experiences, and the evolution of organizations into successful intelligent businesses.
