Taking our winner startup to SxSW Austin Texas

The last three years Nalta.com has succesfully partnered with Dell EMC, Accenture and the Next Web to boost Dutch startups. We have build a strong ecosystem of startups and corporates and we have embedded this program deep into our organisations. Our recipe has been simple but powerful from the start: open up our business networks to startups, stimulate matchmaking between startups and corporates and add a dose of practicality to innovative businessplans. Success stories and winners of our competition are www.trylikes.com (ultra cool solution for measuring customer experience in retail) and www.bomberbot.com (let's your kids learn programming from a very early age!!).

When we started planning the Dell for Entrepreneurs startup program 2017, we wanted to raise the bar even higher. Continue the succesful core of the program, partner with Startup Delta to tap deep into the Dutch Startup community and organise something really special for the winner of the startup competition.

Last year at the Dell EMC Forum in Maarssen we announced our winner: www.expivi.com an innovative solution that visualizes 3D models realtime for use online in your browser. Customers of Expivi can save huge amounts of time and money transferring CAD designs like cars and furniture into configurable 3D objects in a webshop. They leveraged their experience in the gaming industry to solve a problem in a totally different industry that has been stuck for many years.

So lets return to the special thing we have organized for our winner. We have planned a trip to South by Southwest (www.sxsw.com) in Austin TX, the hometown of Dell EMC. Together with our partners, corporates and startups we are going to experience this event the Dell way. We have build a exclusive program which includes visiting Round Rock HQ Dell EMC, The Dell Experience in downtown Austin, a visit to the Michael Dell Hospital (not because of some beer related accident) and much more.

Last but not least we are going to meet some real experienced Dell executives: Marius Haas who is President & Chief Commercial Officer at Dell, Patricia Florissi CTO of Dell EMC and Michael J. Morton CTO of Dell Boomi.

This trip is going to be 'awesome' and the cool thing is, when you are visiting SxSW you are invited to apply to the program too. Have a look at our landing page and join us to this very special, inspiring journey:

During SxSW I will blog together with Geert Merkelbach and share our experience directly with you on this channel. So subscribe to our blog and don't miss a thing!
